Creeping barberry

Description

Also known as Creeping mahonia and Oregon-grape. A low-growing mountain shrub, found in ponderosa pine and mixed-conifer belts throughout western North America.

It is often recognized by its holly-like leaves. The yellow flowers are early-blooming, later producing dark blue berries.

Berberis repens.
