Chapel and grounds at old family estate in Santa Fe

These are the grounds of the estate of one of the old Santa Fe families, much involved with the arts in Santa Fe and Taos. The buildings are adobe, including the private chapel in the background. The chapel is constructed in the traditional style of adobe churches.

Photo was shot in winter, when leafless trees revealed more of the grounds.

The property was willed in the 1970s to the School of Advances Research.
